It will bring some cooler weather and a quick shot of mountain snow. Denver and the Front Range could pick up some snow flurries or even a quick snow shower early Friday.

Tsunami warning issued after earthquake in Alaska The earthquake, initially reported as a magnitude 8.2, was recorded about 175 miles southeast of Kodiak Island early Tuesday morning. Warnings from the National Weather Service sent to cellphones in Alaska warned: "Emergency Alert. Tsunami danger on the coast. Go to high ground or move inland."

Colorado getting charged up about electric vehicles From Crested Butte to Denver is 4.5 hours in good weather. Importantly, there are no charging stations along Highway 50 between Gunnison and Salida, 65 miles away. This may matter less as newer models arrive with longer range and lower prices. Changes are rapidly occurring in both dimensions.
